It could have been a false flag or some other minor group within the organization. We haven't actually heard antifa openly make any such announcements, they're usually quite loud in proclaiming their enabling of deviants. It just seems like they wouldn't use the term "bashing" either, they would have used some terminology involving "discrimination" or "prejudice" themed crap and the like.
