Ind. Man Allegedly Confesses to Shooting Pregnant Estranged Wife in the Back, Was Upset Child Isn't His
An Indiana man has been arrested after allegedly confessing to shooting his pregnant wife because he believed the child she was carrying was not his.
Jeremy McBride, 36, is accused of shooting his estranged wife, identified by Indianapolis’ Fox 59 as Kayla Netherland.
On Thursday, Jan. 23, McBride was charged with the Attempted Murder (Attempted intentional killing of another) of Netherland and Feticide (terminates human pregnancy w/intent other than to produce live birth) for her unborn child, according to court records viewed by PEOPLE.
Citing a probable cause affidavit, WISH-TV reported that on Sunday, Jan. 19, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a home in the 700 block of Pleasant Run Parkway Drive North shortly after 6 p.m.
Prosecutors claim to have found notes from McBride in which he
“wrote of his frustrations with his estranged wife’s infidelity and his frustrations with their failed relationship," Fox 59 reports.
McBride reportedly admitted to being angry because “he and his wife hadn’t gotten divorced, yet she had gotten pregnant” with another man’s child.
This burner has a history of pregnancy blunders, thankfully.
"She was 5 months pregnant with her miracle baby, after several failed pregnancies in the past, and she has lost her baby due to this outrageous crime committed against her,” her family told WRTV. “She is alive, and not paralyzed, thank God.”
Us good taxpayers salute you for not bringing more welfare tickets/future felons into the world.
Following her surgeries, her left ovary, left fallopian tube and more have been removed.
Hopefully, this well has gone dry. Hopefully.

According to a probable cause arrest affidavit obtained by Law&Crime, around the time of the shooting, one of Netherland’s friends arrived at the home to do laundry and walked inside. She reportedly saw Netherland’s estranged husband, 36-year-old Jeremy McBride, standing over her body. McBride looked at the friend and simply walked out the front door without a word, cops noted. The friend told police she believed
McBride was responsible for Netherland’s death. Using license plate readers, officers tracked down McBride and pulled him over.

For sure. Most of my friends have taken at least one shot at their partners, dumped boiling liquids on them, or tried to set them ablaze. I don't know anyone who hasn't pulled out a gun at least once at a fast-food restaurant if the fries weren't seasoned properly, or if the sauce was not hot enough. It's just regular life.
