Wendy’s worker exchanges gunfire with customer in argument over fries, KY cops say

A Wendy’s employee was shot by a customer in an argument over cold fries, Kentucky authorities say. The shooting happened Jan. 6 inside of a Wendy’s on Dixie Highway in Louisville and led to the arrest of 25-year-old Monjah James-Wooten, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department. James-Wooten and two others were in the drive-thru when they got into a verbal fight with an employee over cold fries in their order, according to a citation. The group then went inside the restaurant, where police said James-Wooten brought out a gun and fired a single shot. The worker returned fire, leading to the customer shooting multiple rounds at the employee, authorities said.
