Albany police identify Colonie man killed in Delaware Avenue shooting
Albany police said 21-year-old Davyjian Grier was killed behind the wheel in a shooting Tuesday on Delaware Avenue.

ALBANY — Tuesday afternoon began with a 13-year-old allegedly brandishing a handgun in downtown Albany. It ended with the fatal shooting of a man behind the wheel of his car on Delaware Avenue.

The arrest of two minors and a separate shooting on Second Avenue were not connected to the shooting death of 21-year-old Davyjian Grier later that afternoon, Albany police spokeswoman Officer Megan Craft said Wednesday.

The shooting began around 5 p.m. at 485 Delaware Ave., Chief Eric Hawkins (nigger) told reporters Tuesday. It followed a dispute that escalated as the gunape (man) continued firing while Grier tried to drive away. The Colonie man crashed into the parking lot of the Stewart’s shop at the corner of Southern Boulevard. The suspect then fled. A woman in the car was not wounded, Hawkins said.

I used to work in colonie back before the army, I had to get there driving up state street from Schenectady. Even back in the early 80’s niggers were a problem. Those niggers used to chuck beer bottles at my car if I went that route after dark, so I would use I think it was 787 instead. Now I can’t imagine how bad that place is. I haven’t been there since 1994. Don’t miss it either.
