I agree, the proper term is nigger! Or, at least as long as you go to jail if you name them correctly, 'african'. Especially for foreigners in the US that works pretty well (I tested that with an Texas police officer), when he asked/corrected me, I juts told him that it didn't speak proper Enghish, therefore I assumed it was from Apefrica.
