Separate parties, same tragedy: Hamilton County boy and girl drown in pool

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — It happened at 2 separate parties, but 2 families in Hamilton County are experiencing the same tragedy.
That's after a young boy and girl drowned in two different pools on the same day. We spoke with one family, who told us the children were friends from church.
On that same day, the family of 9-year-old Joekareiyon "KJ" Morgan tells us he drowned at a birthday pool party at a hotel in Chattanooga.
KJ's family says he and De’Kota were good friends who went to church together.
