Eight people have been arrested after detectives discovered equipment they suspect could be used for making bombs at a home in Leicester.
Officers were investigating an attempted murder in the quite suburban street when they discovered "items which caused some concern".
Seven more people were arrested this morning on suspicion of manufacturing explosives under suspicious circumstances.
The 51-year-old was also re-arrested on suspicion of this offence and they all remain in custody.
