Over time, Usher would reportedly spend his break time with the girl at a convenience store near the bus stop. He would buy her candy and drinks, and their conversation eventually turned sexual with Usher requesting sexual photos of the girl.

After the girl reported the incident to police, a detective assumed the identity of the victim and continued the relationship via text. During that time, Usher allegedly sent sexually explicit photos of himself, one of them was taken while he was driving his bus.
