PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — A father in Prince George's County has pleaded guilty to punching his 2-month-old son to death and then leaving the infant's body in the back of the hearse he was driving for a day before burying him in a shallow grave.

The father, Antoine Petty, 32, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of child abuse causing death, a crime that carries a 40-year sentence. No plea deal was made in the case and prosecutors will be pushing for the maximum sentence.

Ya know what really pisses me off? Correct me if I'm wrong, but all these news stories about niggers pleading guilty seem to have the wrong participle of the verb.

In my mind, it seems correct to state the "the nigger PLEAD guilty", but it is always written as "PLEADED". It's been a LONG TIME since 3-4 grade when we recited the conjugation of verbs for 45 minutes a day in school.

This website seems to agree with the trend I see in articles, but it just doesn't sound right to me. Any English majors around who could clarify?
