Yeah, "Communism and Socialism aren't the same thing," love that one. Okay libtards, concentrate really hard here, read my lips if you have to:
Union...of Soviet...SOCIALIST Republics. From Wikipedia (often left-bent but facts can still be found):
"Marx has been described as one of the most influential figures in human history, and his work has been both lauded and criticised. Marxism has exerted major influence on socialist thought and political movements, and during the 20th century revolutionary governments identifying as Marxist took power in many countries and established socialist states including the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China."
People are ignorant, and they show it best when they do stupid shit like denying they're Communists.

Yes, in Russian it is actually Soyuz Sovietskich Socialisticzeskich Respublik (Soyuz = Union), Russian uses -ich at plural adjectives to specify the genitive, English uses "of", Sovietskich means Soviet (Actually sovetskij (in nominative) is an adjective from soviet, which means either a council or an advice, the meaning was that the Soveit Union was allegedly governed by councils.), Socialisticzeskich means socialist, what a surprise, and Respublik means Republics in genitive.
(I had a mandatory Russian at elementary school and high school, as we were their puppet state.)
Karl Marx was actually a lazy bastard who never really worked, he was supported by his wife and his pal Friedrich Engels, who was rich. Karl just spent his time in coffees and elaborated on his lunatic ideas.
Russia was probably one of few states which could be possibly receptive to Karl Marx's lunatic ideas. While capitalism in the industrialized world already improved living conditions of ordinary workers, in Russia, a primitive medieval age with absolute power of the monarch and nobility met industrialization, there was virtually no middle class. Solzhenitsyn (The GULag Archipelago) documents that in Russia, even social democrats were dreaming about workers' revolution and class struggle, but when these people got to western world, they realized that there would never be one and they even realized it was not needed. This was the difference against bolsheviks, who insisted upon the revolution no matter what. (Actually bolsheviks means people of majority (bolshinstvo), since they expelled the minority social democrats from the party and endorsed the communist ideology.)
Then you know the story. Russian empire collapsed during the Great War and bolsheviks were well organized to seize the power. After they established it, they started spreading that communist shit like a cancer. Mongolia was first, Eastern Europe and China followed after the World War Two, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, Nicaragua, etc.
Current Russia is pretty close to the once Soviet Union, they have some mix of socialist and capitalist economy, they are fully socialist in terms of liberties, and they use the same methods to subdue and oppress its neighbors as Soviet Union and Russian empire did. Remarkable examples may be seen in Georgia (I mean the one in Asia, not the US state.), Nagorno-Karabakh, or Ukraine.
For example, red star military marking is not a Russian tradition, it was established by the Soviet Union and Russia keeps it, they also returned to the Soviet Anthem, only changed words.

The American Street Communist doesn't know history, they have had a life of pure indoctrination. For example: They must be trans and cut their penis or boobs off, global warming is real, America Sucks and Niggers need to be worshipped. That's all they know, there is no history other than whites are bad and america sucks.
For the commies that do know history, those commies don't ignore it. Those communists, well they believe they are the smartest people in the room and that with them in charge communism will be better, with them there will be a more equitable version. (elite communists)
I despise either version and both are wrong. My 2cents

You summed it up perfectly! And you are absolutely right with Marx, he was a work-shy lazy ass (like the typical Liberal).
Two additional things not to forget:
The Nazis as well were Socialists (hence their name: Nazional SOZIALISTISCHE Partei). And they delivered: nationalization of all companies, planned economy, etc. The Left of today HATES it when you point that out.
Second, Marx, Engels, Freud, Adorno, Marcuse, Benjamin etc. were the founders of the "Frankfurt School", and the "Critical Theory". The irony of the story is, that one of the first things the Nazis did was closing this institutet because they couldn't stand people who were lazy. Also, most of them were Jewish, but since the persecution of the Jews came much later – in the beginning Hitler was pro-Jewish – I assume the original reason for closing the institute was “laziness”.
And that's how the US inhereted these people: They immigrated to the US, and re-founded the institute for "social philosophy" at Columbia University, NY, amongst others.

I would also add to this this discussion that when I grew up in a communist country, the official state propaganda was telling us that we had been living in socialism. The communism was portrayed as a distant ideal goal, where we were heading.

Thank you Shitskinscientist for that excellent explanation, and I'm sorry to hear you had to grow up under Communism. Yes, Marx was like a lot of socialists, never worked a day in his life that I know of. His wife Jenny von Westphalen was the daughter and granddaughter of several branches of Scottish nobility, and if I remember correctly they sold off a lot of the Earl of Argyll's family silver to keep out of debt.
And yes, the National Socialist German Workers Party was another Socialist enterprise. Ignorant leftists ask "then why did they fight in the streets with Communists?" Because they were two gangs fighting over the same piece of turf, dumbasses! Different scoops from the same Socialist pile of shit. God but people are ignorant!
BOOM! Exactly!

Yeah SiT, I grew up on Marty Robbins, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, Patsy cline. Loretta lynn, Waylon and Willie.... But I was also and still am into Bluegrass, pretty much all 35+ genres of metal, Classical, Hard rock, Industrial, trance, dance and and endless list of genres. I somehow became ecclectic.... But Metal will always top the list for me. Always has.

Sorry, this does not fit. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf several years before ascending to power and he already explains in that book how he became antisemitic. He was never pro-Jewish as he held power. In fact, he gradually escalated antisemitic politics from the very beginning, slowly leading to the holocaust.

Sorry, that was a bit euphemistic, I apologize. The situation back then was of course much more complicated - and not as simple as it's taught today. What I wanted to say was: At the beginning, the Nazis were actually no more or less anti-Semitic than the zeitgeist. (Compare articles from the London Times, or Henry Ford's botch from that time. Or the killings of Jews in Russia pre and post WWII. Or look at the left wing anti-jewish craze at Ivy-League universities right now.).
In Mein Kampf he blames Jews for socialism (remember, that was the time when communist assassins roamed the streets killing people -> Rosa Luxemburg etc., Stalin&Lenin killed millions of people), but he also says that he sees them as pawns because "people need an enemy". (Crazy when you consider that they were/became socialists themselves later on.) But the Nazis also praised them for being hard working people, and they supported the creation of an Jewish state in Palestine (or Madagaskar). Much to the dismay of the Brits, who massively opposed that, of course. (British colonies, and they had deals with various Arab tribes and the Osmanes to not let Jews settle there.) Churchill later admitted in his book that he introduced Hitler to the mufti of Jerusalem to prevent the creation of an Jewish state in Palestine (Incidentally, later editions of his book no longer contain this chapter!). I don't recall of how often Brits changed side on that topic, but it was often. Surprisingly, there even existed Nazi propaganda films & articles praising the Jewish settlements in Israel: https://digipres.cjh.org/delivery/DeliveryManagerServlet?dps_pid=IE9813662 https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2015-10-21/ty-article/netanyahu-absolves-hitler-of-guilt/0000017f-dc2e-db22-a17f-fcbf7c1e0000
At least I was very surprised when I discovered that (but I have to admit, I was never interested in history in my younger years. Only in recent years when I tried to understand the socialist craze ruining our countries, I realized I had to dig into history.) There is, by the way, a pretty accurate post-war film that shows the West's conflict with Israel: Exodus (1960). Another brilliant book is IMHO "One Palestine" from Tom Segev.
