And yeah, I preferred to walk as much as possible. A cop spends a lot of time sitting in a patrol unit or at a desk doing reports. I'll take that walk time!
I would walk the breakwater docks, bike trail and town block at every opportunity. Even now I hump a 55 lb medium Alice pack and my 1917 Enfield on these old logging trails out here. Dropped a sweet buck earlier in August doing just that!
Yep. I'll take the exercise when I can get it.
