Aldrick Scott faces charges of first-degree murder in death of Cari Allen

A 47-year-old feral coon will now be charged with murder in the death of an Omaha mudsdhark.

On Friday, the Douglas County Attorney's Office said Aldrick Scott will be charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm and tampering with evidence for the homicide of Cari Allen.

"There's still work being done but we felt comfortable at this point in time filing the charges," Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine said. "There's nothing in particular other than a cause of death and that's obvious from the use of a firearm charge that she was shot."


An autopsy on Dec. 23 confirmed the human remains were Allen, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Allen was "found in a shallow grave," according to the Douglas County Attorney's Office.
