Woman Found Chained At The Neck To A Stripper Pole, Forced To Work As Prostitute

When police went to a home for an investigation, they found something they never expected to see — a woman chained at the neck to a stripper pole.
Now, the man who put her there faces at least 15 years in federal prison.
This week in a federal court in Michigan, it took a jury three hours to convict Ryon Travis, 38, of sex trafficking and child pornography charges, according to federal prosecutors.
The investigation started with police in West Bloomfield, Michigan, as they searched Travis’ home during a fraud investigation, prosecutors said. During that search, officers found images of sexual abuse of a child.
Police returned to the home in search of the sheets depicted in the images.
When officers went inside, they found an adult woman chained at the neck to a stripper pole in the living room, prosecutors said.
Travis was forcing the woman to work as a prostitute and did the same to three other women, officials said.
When the sex-trafficking victims tried to leave the home, Travis restrained them with a chain.
