Woman charged with shooting into house full of kids, ex-boyfriend

On May 11 at the 4000 block of Steele Street, a caller told the Memphis Police Department (MPD) that her house was shot at.
The woman told police that she was inside the house when she heard a shot fired from outside, and recognized the shooter who fled the scene in a blue Toyota Avalon.
The suspect, later identified as Krystal Dansberry, had recently threatened the caller’s son due to the fact that he is in a new relationship, according to an affidavit.
Detectives say Dansberry was after her ex, who was at the home on Steele Street in Frayser on May 11.
Dansberry allegedly was upset because he no longer wanted to be with her. Police say she fired a single shot from a handgun at the house while he was upstairs asleep.
The other living occupants of the home were the ex-boyfriend, and 4 children aged from 2-9, police said.
Dansberry was arrested and charged with 6 counts of aggravated assault.\
Just repaying old scores, I guess.
The suspect also has 3 domestic violence reports against them, court documents said.
