I was going to say something similar. Clearly his direct ancestors weren't lynched or he wouldn't be here today. Maybe his great-great-great-great grandfather's cousin's sister's brother who did some shit he shouldn't have done...maybe he was lynched. But this "some white person hurt a black person so i'm going to hang on it forever" (no pun intended) attitude is irrational and illogical.
