Dion Lamarr Ford Jr., a talented basketball player who graduated from St. Paul’s Central High School, was being robbed Thursday when he pulled out a handgun and shot the suspect, according to charges filed Friday.
The suspect fired back and killed Ford, who had a permit to carry a gun.
Xavion Tyrece Bell, the 21-year-old suspect, was critically wounded when Ford shot him outside a convenience store in St. Paul’s North End.naturally the progressive shitbag women who run that town are blaming the market near where this happened.
City Council President Amy Brendmoen, who represents the area, wrote on Facebook that she was “sorry that another family is suffering from the results of gun violence, I’m sorry that the neighbors are continuing to be traumatized by the actions of the patrons and groupies that deal in the parking lot, and I am frankly sorry that this business is still somehow operating in the North End.
“That said, I’m not surprised,” her post continued. “I have joined the community and families of victims of violence to shine a flood light on this problem property. We also held a public hearing where neighbors talked about the violence and fear that has increased over the past several years with the addition of a tobacco shop at this location. I am beyond fed up, and I know the community is too.”
Ali Alfureedy, owner of Maryland Supermarket and Maryland Tobacco, said in a lawsuit he filed last year against the city of St. Paul that the council was scapegoating his property for crime in the neighborhood.
