I have to say first that in no way am I sympathizing with or romanticizing Hitler. The man was pure evil. The one thing he did right, however, was put German natives as top priority. While he accepted different ethnic groups and even some native born Jews and some niggers (look it up) into military service for Germany after sworn allegiance, the benefits of full citizenship were reserved for native Germans - and of course the nigger troops proved to be a disaster. The Germany (as well as most of Europe) of today would not be recognized by the Europe of 75 years ago. Niggers, sand niggers and all manner of migrants from the rest of the world have turned every country in the West into an absolute diversity mess.

What makes a country are common borders, people, language, customs, religion, race, education, history and traditions. To mix outside influence within any country's borders is to invite trouble. Diversity does not add to any common strength. It causes weakness in the whole. Alloys are for Metallurgy, not for countries. The oldest countries in the world are the ones who actively keep the most closed societies.

Personally, I believe the reason is much more insidious than this. It is not individual governments that benefit. You are right, but the left does not allow to say that, because it does not fit their narrative. In recent times when I got more interested in history (ignored that mostly in my earlier life), to try to understand why the left happens, I stumbled across the craziest things. Would be way too far fetched to go into detail (and I don't know enough yet), but I think the current situation is actually another attempt to establish Communism in Europe (and the US) - something WWII prevented:
Hitler was a reaction to Stalin who just killed a few million people, and people in western countries really feared communists back then for that reason. Hence Hitler initially was supported, perhaps even installed (as Winston Churchill later admitted even until the end of the war - his book on WWII are a must read!) by the western nations who wanted Germany as bulwark against Russian communists. Of course it probably was not exactly planned that Hitler snapped. He did not care about jews, but communists, jews just were some sort pawn sacrifice for communists (since Socialism, Marx, Engels ... were inventions by mostly Jewish scholars. Which after the war emigrated to the US, and continued to spread their ideology in US universities), even though the nazis acutally were a socialist party. But then again, he obviously was crazy.
