EU expresses anger after Denmark approves proposal to send migrants to third countries

On Thursday, the Danish Parliament approved a bill that would allow sending asylum seekers to third countries, even outside the European continent. According to the law, migrants will be registered upon arrival in Denmark and then board a plane bound for countries, for example, in Africa, where the partner country will handle further application proceedings.

Among the states that could partner with Denmark are countries such as Rwanda, reports the AFP agency. Ethiopia and Eritrea are allegedly also negotiating with Copenhagen, with the Danes covering the cost of the whole process. The law also states that a migrant may be retained in that third country even if his or her asylum application is approved.

The European Commission has already expressed concerns about the new Danish law.

"External processing of asylum claims raises fundamental questions about both the access to asylum procedures and effective access to protection," said European Commission spokesman Adalbert Jahnz.

He emphasized that seeking asylum was a fundamental right in the European Union.

The law has also been criticized by human rights organizations. Last month, the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) asked Copenhagen not to approve the proposal.

Denmark isn't exactly the antithesis of the welfare state. Gibs has its limits, and it's about time some Europeans figured they'd better look to their own first.

Yup.

What some idiots don't seem to realize is that a lot of places have an infrastructure that is ideally suited for the original inhabitants. Once you add a bunch of extra people, regardless of origin, there is a possibility that various things will start falling apart.

A simple example might be a power grid that has suddenly become unreliable because too many people have moved in and the power companies haven't had the time to upgrade their facilities yet. Or suppose too many people are eating too much food, and they now have issues with food supplies.

The list can go on and on.

And when you have immigrants that are not contributing in any meaningful way to society, and are possibly making things worse by raping the native women and committing various crimes, it's not hard to imagine why someone might want to get rid of them.

I'm not a huge fan of the concept of replacement migration. What if it is actually a good thing when a nation is not overpopulated, and the inhabitants can maintain a state of equilibrium with their environment?

"They" say populations need to increase their numbers. What if it is actually better when they don't increase, and just remain stable?

At least Denmark came to their senses, let the rest of Europe put up with the stink apes. Britain, Germany, France are all fuxated commie countries that get what they deserve.

I think a lot of human nations would probably benefit if they changed their laws so that only people that honorably served in their respective militaries were allowed to become politicians.

I don't know what it's like in European militaries, but in the USA, we have to pledge to defend our nation from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Getting back to Denmark, they've just granted asylum to a Pirate of whom attempted hijacking and survived, while four others simultaneously got batwing'd:

Well, take this as respectful disagreement, but modern military veterans are the last I want in politics. It was different in Washington's time. There are a lot of Democrats who did a few years, even a tour, which frankly is no qualification in my book. Then should some Tyrone or Shaniqua, especially a nigger that got into college and later became an officer, be able to go into politics, but I cannot?

I've known several Vietnam vets who were drafted, and their hearts might be in the right place, but they're too stupid to trust with governing others. They're exactly my concern that the Deep State would be able to groom and manipulate such types, filling the airwaves with commercials about "He served our country honorably!"

The latter veterans mentioned suffer trauma more often than veterans of WW2 and earlier, due to changes in battle tactics, as well as the types of unprecedented horrors which the aforementioned earlier veterans were not as often exposed to.
The last of any veteran I'd prefer having in politics is the most recent type of whom willfully entered theaters of conflict. Their behavior in civilian environments is to be witnessed, as soon as they take employment with a Pough-Leece department
