The day before this post, I had just read that Hartlepool, Scarborough, etc. we're attacked by the Imperial German Navy around 1914. Then came the Battle of Jutland, the only battleship engagement in WWI. Now I have to think of Hartlepool in the military context, and the nigger monkey context.
