CNN’s Ratings Go Down the Toilet, Tumbling Over 70 Percent Since January


Along with its ongoing ethical problems, a deceptive marketing campaign, and a continued hatred for non-liberal voices, it’s been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year for the Jeffrey Zucker-led CNN. And as per the latest Nielsen ratings, CNN has continued to hemorrhage viewers with primetime and entire day total viewership down over 70 percent since January.

Nielsen Media Research has the breakdown and it’s not pretty, no matter how the Zucker Borg would spin it. Since a January high of roughly 798,000 primetime viewers and 530,000 total day viewers in the 25-54 demographic, CNN has fallen off a cliff and into the pit of misery with the network fetching only 229,000 in primetime and 152,000 in total day over the past month.

That, dear NewsBusters readers, would represent a cratering of 71 percent for both metrics. Granted, January saw the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, the second Trump impeachment, and the Biden inauguration, but to lose anything by such a large metric wasn’t anything one should brag about.

I've fired a steam locomotive a few times at a museum when I was younger. That asshat Biden thinks it's just baling coal into a firebox as fast as possible. No. The locomotive cab rocks, bucks, and sways different from the fuel tender, each shovelful of coal, there's a foot operated firebox door, you gotta keep your balance, foot on the door pedal, time it so the shovel scoop is right as the firebox door just as it opens, then quickly assess where the coal is needed. Bright glowing spots indicate low spots in the fire. Aim for those. Otherwise, a pattern "Left, center, right, center" when shoveling coal. Oh, and while you're busy with that, keep an eye on the water level gauge. If the boiler runs dry, KABOOM! An explosion powerful enough to propel a 100 ton boiler many dozens of feet in the air. To let more water in (But not too much, too much water is very bad for the cylinders) there's a lever that has to be adjusted, and you have to stop firing for a second to do that. It's a damned art form, one in danger of being lost to history, hearing that nigger loving, liberal cocksucker talk down to miners, and to anyone who has fired a boiler of any kind, it just really pisses me off.
