The DJ for Louisville rapper Jack Harlow is accused of shooting and killing a woman during a pre-Kentucky Derby party at Vibes Restaurant and Ultra Lounge, Jefferson Commonwealth's Attorney Tom Wine's office announced Tuesday.
Ronnie T. O’Bannon, better known as Ronnie Lucciano, has been indicted on one count of murder and tampering with physical evidence after Louisville Metro Police said he shot the woman around 1:30 a.m. May 1 inside the nightclub, 1346 River Road.
Kasmira Nash, 37, of Louisville, died in incident, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office. Friends and family said she worked as a bartender at the club.
O’Bannon is 27 years old and has a Louisville address, according to online court records.
Vibes was hosting a "2021 Derby Weekend Kickoff" party on April 30 before the next day's horse racing spectacle, according to its Facebook page. Harlow and O'Bannon were not performing, but a separate entertainer, DJ Drama, served as the featured guest.
Harlow, who received a Grammy nomination this year in the "Best Rap Performance" category for his hit "Whats Poppin," is signed to DJ Drama's Generation Now record label.
