A New Orleans police officer providing security at a high school basketball game was shot to death Friday evening by a man who was refused entry into the contest for not wearing a mask required by coronavirus rules, according to initial reports that police were still investigating Saturday.

Police said that John Shallerhorn, 35, wanted to get into George Washington Carver High School’s playoff game at its home gymnasium against Warren Easton High at about 6:15 p.m. but was prohibited from doing so by an employee who was checking temperatures and ensuring attendees were wearing masks.

Shallerhorn fought with the school employee before 38-year-old Martinus Mitchum, a Tulane University police officer and 2nd City Court deputy constable moonlighting at the school to provide security, intervened to break up the melee, investigators said Saturday.

NOLA niggers are among, if not the, worst of the worst. They are the dumbest and most savage I've seen and I've lived in Shitcongo, Memphrica, and been all over the US.

I'm surprised that the constable didn't know better than to do what he did. Knowing what niggers are like firsthand by being one himself, he made a foolish choice that cost him.

He should not have escorted him off campus. He should have arrested him on the spot with the assistance of NOPD. The gun would have likely been taken and the nigger cuffed with no problems.

If the nigger had have made the decision to start shooting inside the school, well, so much the better. There could have been many more niggers hit by the errant lead hailstorm but at least the nigger wouldn't have made it to the jail alive to be a burden to the taxpayers.

I am puzzled as to why the nigger chose to kill this one but immediately set its pawgun on the ground and surrendered to NOPD. It's not like he thought the guy was a civilian. All LEO's working off duty gigs wear their uniforms and drive their service vehicles on these jobs.

For those not familiar with this setup, it is commonplace statewide to see LEO's off duty working private security details with full police gear and authority. They still can and will arrest you just like if they were on duty. The attitude toward this practice is that cop cars and cops in uniform deter crime anywhere they go so why not let them do it. They even drive them home at end of shift. The street that I live on had four cop cars parked in driveways up and down the street from my house when I moved in - which was nice. I still have one right across the street from me. This neighborhood is like a magnet for cops.

Starting an NOPD cop off at $40K per year is shit pay to get shot at. I think they max at $60K/annually. It's pathetic, really. It's no wonder they have side gigs that pay better. They don't exactly draw the best and brightest to the positions.

No how, no way would I ever want to be a cop ESPECIALLY down here.
