EUGENE, Ore. - The Lane County Disrict [sic] Attorney determined officers acted within the law when they shot a nigger as he charged them with a knife in Eugene on November 30.

The finding was part of District Attorney Patty Perlow's review of the Interagency Deadly Force Investigation Team probe of the shooting of Muhsin Sharif.

Sharif survived being shot twice and now faces criminal charges.

The report provides new information on what happened before the shooting took place.

According to the DA, Sharif was involved in a domestic dispute where he violated a restraining order.

Would have been a happier ending had the second unit in neglected to put his cruiser in park.
