BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — The Birmingham police department reported Thursday that an arrest has been made in the 2018 cold case murder of Justin Lett.

Police said after an extensive investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for murder against Cameron Cook, 29, of Birmingham. Cook was already in the Jefferson County Jail on another Capital Murder charge with no bond.

Things like that make me shake my head at any delay in administering justice. Is there a nationwide rope shortage or something? Ammo prices are up, but surely someone can donate a couple of rounds.
