Man authorities say shot his ex-girlfriend and left her body in city intersection arrested in Florida

A Camden man was charged Monday with killing his ex-girlfriend, who authorities found mortally wounded in a Camden intersection a little over a month ago.

Eric Seddens, 38, of Camden, is charged with murder and absconding from parole, according to a joint statement from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Camden County Police Department.

Seddens was located in Clearwater, Florida and arrested there in mid October following work by the U.S. Marshals N.Y./N.J. Regional Fugitive Task Force-Camden Division, and the agency’s task force in Tampa.

Jail records show he was released from the Pinellas County Jail in Clearwater last Thursday, Nov. 5 after being extradited to New Jersey.

Camden County authorities say he killed Ashley Allen, 33, of Sicklerville with a gunshot to the head. Police were called to the intersection of 8th and Walnut Street in Camden shortly before midnight on Sept. 29 after they received a report of a woman in the road, the office said.

That what I said about that coon in Cleveland that killed about a dozen crack hoes, stacking them like cordwood in his house. The smell is what got him cuffed.

Should have sent him home with a backhoe and a pallet stacked with bags of lime!
