MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- A Clarksville man has been charged with the murder of his co-worker who he allegedly shot after a dispute over ear phones.
ichard Bernard Nolton, 25, was arrested Thursday and charged with criminal homicide on allegations he shot a co-worker. Nolton’s place of employment was listed as Reda Construction.
According to his warrant, on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at about 2:20 p.m., Nolton and the victim, who the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office identified as 42-year-old Christopher Bumpus, were working on a developing site near Reda Drive at a construction site in the Dotsonville area.
Reports indicated that a dispute developed over Apple Airpods.
