What started as a peaceful protest in Arlington became more contentious as the night went on, ending in a handful of arrests after demonstrators broke into a Walmart near AT&T Stadium and other businesses.
At the Arlington Police Department headquarters, photos and video posted on social media show several individuals burning American flags that were on the premises for Memorial Day and attempting to light trees on fire. Some threw objects at the windows of the police building, breaking them.
