Texas Governor Greg Abbott has wasted no time in making the nation’s second-largest state the first to ban refugees from settling anywhere within its massive 268,000 square mile boundaries. (Only Alaska is bigger.)

Abbott, whose a strong supporter of President Donald Trump, is taking advantage of a Trump executive order that purports to allow states to refuse refugees the right to resettle. The Trump administration effectively lowered the number of refugees entering the country in 2019 to 30,000 – a 70 percent drop from Obama-era levels. The White House under the direction of top Trump advisor Stephen Miller, a white nationalist, is working to make that number even lower.

Here is the perfect excuse for poll watchers at all elections. Getting the conservatives out to vote these cock suckers out of office and use common sense in governing our nation, states and local municipalities. Too much bullshit goes on at our polls where more ballots are cast than the amount of people in the district. That shit needs to stop and prosecute the fist fuckers responsible. I think many Texans are keenly aware of what the sudden influx of hundreds of thousands of low-IQ, unemployable, dependent, openly-hostile third worlders can do to major metro areas. They saw how cities were transformed in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and the several hundred thousand nigger "evacuees" who came in and then never left. My own brother and his family were literally driven out of what was a very nice neighborhood in a suburb south of Houston. The burden on the school districts alone was nothing short of catastrophic, not to mention the public resources sapped to keep some semblance of order.

Of course, liberals want more imported voters to flip states like Texas politically. We all know that. No big secret.

Federal judge blocks Trump order allowing states to refuse to settle refugees


A federal judge in Maryland temporarily blocked an executive order signed by President Trump that would allow state and local governments to refuse to accept refugees.

Judge Peter J. Messitte of the Maryland District Court granted a motion from refugee groups to temporarily stay the order while their legal challenge against the president plays out.

"By giving States and Local Governments the power to veto where refugees may be resettled — in the face of clear statutory text and structure, purpose, Congressional intent, executive practice, judicial holdings, and Constitutional doctrine to the contrary — Order 13888 does not appear to serve the overall public interest," Messitte, who was appointed by former President Clinton, wrote in his opinion.

"Granting the preliminary inductive relief Plaintiffs seek does," he continued. "Refugee resettlement activity should go forward as it developed for the almost 40 years before Executive Order 13888 was announced."

This is completely unconstitutional. Remember when Democrats were all about state's rights? Trump is again getting the federal government out of the way of a purely state matter, and this Clinton appointee is destroying the very concept of federalism.
