After calling out of work, an Oakwood Steak n Shake employee allegedly returned to the restaurant with a gun, held it to another employee’s head and demanded money, police said.
Kentarias Gowans, 20, of Flowery Branch, called the business to say he would not be reporting for his shift “because he was intoxicated,” Oakwood Police investigator Todd Templeton wrote in an email.
Templeton said Gowans went to the restaurant around 10 p.m. Thursday with a handgun. He held the gun to an employee’s head and demanded money, according to police.
