Houston-area police sergeant Kaila Sullivan was killed when a pavement ape wanted on a domestic violence warrant broke free from police while being handcuffed, fled from a traffic stop and struck her with its vehicle, police said.

Sgt. Sullivan was assisting in a traffic stop Tuesday night at an apartment complex when police discovered the groid killer Tavores Henderson had an outstanding warrant for assault on a fambly ape.

Police were in the process of handcuffing and arresting the groid when it escaped the officers and got into its vehicle. The coon then drove off, striking Sullivan, who later died at a hospital. The vehicle was discovered abandoned and police believe the ape knuckle dragged away.
