Shit-head Extraordinaire libtard Richard Stengel, the former editor of Time magazine, Obama State Department official and current MSNBC commentator wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post on Tuesday making an argument for why the First Amendment needs to be changed to include "hate speech" laws that would criminalize, among other things, the burning of Qur’an.

I wonder if I could smoke a pork butt with the quran. Probably not, as paper isn't normally made with decent hardwood. But I could use it to get the hardwood coals going... And use the rest to absorb excess grease. :lol

It would take a new amendment to criminalize "hate speech" after the "Slants" case (Matal v. Tam,[2017]).
The SCOTUS ruled that there is essentially no such thing as "hate speech". Stare decisis would almost certainly steer the Court away from future challenges to that ruling.

Hate speech in the United States is not regulated, in contrast to that of most other liberal democracies.[1] The U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that hate speech is legally protected free speech under the First Amendment. The most recent Supreme Court case on the issue was in 2017, when the justices unanimously reaffirmed that there is effectively no "hate speech" exception to the free speech rights protected by the First Amendment.
What ever it is that the dipshits call words that chafe their weenies....'hate speech' is still and always will be free speech.
