My middle school had annual rap contests, and this was back in the early 90s before wiggerism took such hold. (There you see a big source of the white guilt vote for the ex-HNIC.) One half-nig "winner" emerged on stage to cheers like a rock concert, especially from all the proto-mudsharks. The next year's winner was a wigger who got to repeat the performance at the honor students banquet. Sandman Sr. and I cringed during the whole thing.
