A former nurse from Bexley who had to leave work after being diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia killed herself after the Home Office told her she would be deported.

Bosede Ajayi, 42, was hit by a train at Victoria Underground station on September 10, 2017 after telling her husband she was quickly heading to the shops.

Her husband and primary carer, Yemi Osunkoya, broke down at Inner West London Coroner's Court on Wednesday (August 28) as he recounted having "been through hell".

A coroner ruled that the mum-of-three took her own life after going through both immigration and financial difficulties.
