Third Worlders love to trample each other at all kinds of events, but cRap is a new one to me. What are they about, DL dune cooks going around, al-dikk, al-dikk, gonna al-dikk muh 7-year-old ho?

The victims, aged 13 to 22, were killed when a stampede erupted at sports stadium in Algiers where popular rapper Abderraouf Derradji, more commonly known as Soolking, was set to perform, prosecutors said in a statement Friday.

Thousands of people appeared Friday night to see the popular Algerian rapper perform. The concert continued as planned and was even aired on live TV.

Did the stampede get broadcast too? No video of it that I can find.

If only imported cattle would take part in a little stampeding.
Here, dumb Austrians ship live cattle, circumventing a ban on live exports to Northafrichimpstan:

...The Marker has launched a research project to highlight questionable trading practices and lack of controls. Although the agricultural sector claims that exports of pregnant cattle to Algeria serve to build up dairy cow populations, statistics show the opposite picture - the population is declining. Inquiries into cattle breeding associations, the Chamber of Agriculture and the Ministry of Agriculture remain unanswered to this day...

...At the beginning of the year, The Marker revealed that thousands of pregnant cows were being exported from Austria to Algeria - without any evidence of their whereabouts. Now the Ministry of Health also confirms: There is no information about what happened to the animals after they were exported. There were no follow-up checks to determine whether the animals are actually being used to build up dairy cow populations as claimed. “The BMSGPK does not have any figures as to how many of these animals are currently kept where,” says the official answer...

...In order to uncover the whereabouts of the approximately 60,000 missing cows and their calves, The Marker launched the “Cowfinding” project. So far, the team has documented 43 cows, which are listed on an interactive map on the website. Conversations with local farmers, traders and slaughterhouse workers in Algeria reveal a system that has little or no control...

...Research shows that after their arrival in Algeria, the cows are resold at local livestock markets, among other places - often without their whereabouts being documented. An Austrian cow with a calf was discovered at a livestock market in the Sahara desert. At the same time, social media, particularly platforms such as Facebook and TikTok, has developed into a large, unregulated market for the trade of Austrian cattle. Anyone can buy a cow there, regardless of their background or purpose, and it remains completely unclear as to who ultimately acquires the animals or what happens to them. A dealer reached by The Marker by phone said he transported a sick Austrian cow that could no longer walk alive on a pickup truck to a zoo - where he said it ended up as food for predators. Such practices would be illegal in Austria as they clearly violate animal rights laws. The fact that Austrian cattle are offered on social media like merchandise and resold through sometimes dubious channels shows glaring gaps in the control of these exports. With our Cowfinding project, we want to create the basis for disclosing these non-transparent practices and laying the basis for future measures for change...

...Neither cattle breeding associations nor the Chamber of Agriculture nor the Ministry of Agriculture responded to a written query from The Marker. At the opening of the agricultural fair in Wels last Thursday, both Agriculture Minister Norbert Totschnig and Chamber of Agriculture President Josef Moosbrugger, both ÖVP, declined to comment.

The silence of Agriculture Minister Norbert Totschnig and Chamber of Agriculture President Josef Moosbrugger shows us that the ÖVP wants to stick to these non-transparent export practices without facing public criticism. Apparently economic interests are in the foreground here...

...In order to continue this important research, The Marker relies on public support. As a nonprofit organization, The Marker is entirely funded by donations. Citizens can support the “Cowfinding” project through crowdfunding and thus help clarify the grievances. For more information and the interactive map of documented animals, visit The Marker website.
