Cedric Benson has passed away at 36


Cedric Benson, the former University of Texas and NFL running back, has passed away, according to reports. He was 36.

Reports indicate Benson died in a motorcycle accident in Austin, Texas.

Two days before his death, Benson appeared in a Travis County courtroom, where he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor drunk-driving charges that dated back to February 2017. There are no reports yet on whether either driver was intoxicated during Saturday’s crash.
