One person was arrested in connection with community mailbox thefts that victimized about 100 people in the Pocket area, Sacramento police said Thursday.
Ebony Brown, 38, was arrested on charges related to identity theft and narcotics, police said.
By the way, why steal checkbooks? You might get away with passing a few checks but these days...damn few. And then you're just racking up the felonies for a couple hundred bucks at best.
During a parole search of a home, police said officers found tools used to break into community mailboxes and a significant amount of stolen mail, checkbooks and identity information.
