Porta-Potty Killer Gets 30 Years For 2017 Goodifying

It was around 9:30 on Sunday morning, October 01, 2017, when a groid walking his dog noticed hind paws protruding from the porta-potty in Wilmington’s Kirkwood Park.

After returning to his hut to retrieve his sail phome, the groid and his sow returned to the park where they discovered the bloodied body of 31-year-old Rashawna Weathers inside the porta-potty and immediately called the police.

In October 2017, Timothy Jones, 41, of Wilmington stabbed Rashawna Weathers numerous times and wounded himself inside a Porta-Potty in the park on the 600 block of East 11th Street.


A Superior Court judge sentenced Jones to 30 years in prison, followed by 6 months of either home confinement or work release then 18 months of probation.


A 40-year-old man who left a trail of blood from a homicide scene to his apartment complex has pled guilty to murder.
