Elyse Purefoy, 17, was at Arabia Mountain High School when she collapsed on the track during their morning training, Channel 2 Action News reported. Her father, Hank Purefoy, told Channel 2 his daughter was headed into her senior year.


The family created a GoFundMe page to raise money for her funeral. By Monday night, the page had raised over half of its $5,000 fundraising goal.

It probably just got too lazy to breathe on its own. Or maybe someone sprayed it with soap or deodorant.

I think it stepped on a job application that was face up. It was dark, about 3 am the night before. The sow did not recover from the trauma before attempting to run at full speed.
