I was in Dublin in 1997 and didn't see a single porch monkey anywhere. Nary a one. It was Beautiful! (So was the bar wench who was serving me and the gang I was with) :drunk I wasn't exactly there on vacation either, I had business to attend to. I would recommend staying out of the pubs unless you've got nothing to do the next day. :lol
