This ^^^^ is exactly what I was thinking about. I've seen chimpanzee troups do the same thing and they're fuckin brutal about it. Not monkeys but other chimps from rival communities.
They'll gang-up on one and bite off its fingers, genitals, face etc...

Same behavior, different sub species.

The victim in the case also had a criminal record. He was arrested in 2015 for a hate crime for beating a transgender person, and has arrested in 2018 for robbery with a gun, menacing, assault and grand larceny. In February of this year he was arrested for possession of drugs.

He was a good boy and was turning his life around..
