Now a top British academic has raised the possibility of racists creating a homogenous ‘1950s-style simulation’ populated exclusively by white people who want to escape the West’s growing diversity. Eric Kaufmann, a professor of politics at Birkbeck University, is the author of a book called Whiteshift which explores the ‘future of white majorities’ in Europe and America.
This weighty tome has been dubbed a ‘big controversial book about a big controversial subject’ and details how the demographics of The West will change dramatically in the coming decades, heralding an era when people of multiracial origin are more common in Britain and America than ‘racially unmixed individuals’. He predicts the white population in the US and western European countries including Britain will make up roughly half of the population or less, whereas once they were the majority in nations which were relatively homogenous until mass immigration began during the 20th century.
