Rocky Mount police and U.S. Marshals made three arrests this week in two states in two unrelated local homicides.
Police with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service made two arrests Tuesday in connection with a homicide that occurred on Sept. 21 at Tarrytown Beach Bingo.
Torrin Lamont Thomas, 23, and Armun Dozier, 19, have been charged with first-degree murder.
Police and marshals arrested a suspect Monday in an Oct. 14 homicide.
Dontrell Devon Bryant, 29, was apprehended in New York. He was charged with first-degree murder and held without bond. He is awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
In the bingo case, Thomas also has been charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Dozier was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Both men have been jailed without bond in the Nash County Detention Center.
The two are accused of killing 33-year-old Nesha Pitt.
