A Winston-Salem she-boon sow was accused Tuesday morning of assaulting a polling volunteer at the precinct inside the Martin Luther King Recreation Center on Pittsburg Avenue, authorities said.
Wnston-Salem police served Lakeyrah Aiesha McBride, 34, with a criminal summons for misdemeanor assault, police said.
The incident happened at 8:53 a.m. when officers went to the recreation center for a reported disturbance, police said. Officers determined that the disturbance involved McBride and Susan Kelley Stevens of Lewisville.
