Currently, the bail system unjustly targets and punishes poor, black and brown people. The result is a jail population overwhelming made up of people experiencing poverty. In New York City alone, African American and Latino people make up 90 percent of the city’s jail population, but only slightly more than half of the general population.

For the second day in a row, a defendant bailed out by the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation has flown the coop — failing to show for her next scheduled court date.

Ralphie Myree, 25, arrested in June for robbing a Chelsea sex shop at knifepoint, never bothered to appear in Manhattan Criminal Court Wednesday, prompting a judge to order a warrant for her arrest.


Now RFK will be forced to forfeit the $50,000 it paid to free her on Oct. 2.

The charity should have seen this coming — Myree, who has a lengthy rap sheet, failed to show up for court four times in the past, prosecutors said, while arguing for high bail on the sex-shop robbery charges.

On Tuesday, a Brooklyn judge ordered the arrest of RFK bailee Tamika West, 44, after she failed to show.

RFK did not respond to a request for comment.

I always this same argument where the actual problem is quite different.
The bail system isn't unjustly targeting anyone. It's niggers and brown people who commit a disproportionate percentage of the crime and following that...can't afford to bond out.
Too fuckin bad. Rational thinking people all know how niggers can avoid paying bail they can't afford.

This was highlighted in a news program like 20\20 some time ago.
The twisted and convoluted story they led with was about some sow who had to spend time in jail away from her keeids because she didn't have 10k.

The truth was, the bitch had nearly a dozen unpaid tickets that she just wadded up and threw away as she got them. Those turned into FTA's and subsequent warrants.
So guess how the poor black, mother of 8 who was being unfairly jailed could have avoided all of that in the first place?

It would be easy to say "the loose nigger criminal is their problem now". But the reality is any loose nigger criminal is everyone's problem as it can muhdikk or murder any human.
