CUDAHY - A woman wanted for prostitution and contempt of court led police on a high-speed chase that hit 108 miles per hour Aug. 9.
A traffic stop in the 3100 block of East Layton Avenue for speeding was the catalyst for the chase after driver Laquitia Watson, 27, of Milwaukee gave police a false name. When she was confronted by officers, she refused to get out of her car and sped off.
The name she gave police, Latoya Watson, was flagged as an alias for a woman wanted by Glendale Police for contempt of court and by the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department for prostitution.
the pursuit was terminated for safety reasons.
