The NYPD will immediately launch its internal disciplinary proceedings for the officers involved in Eric Garner’s 2014 chokehold death, a department spokesman confirmed Thursday.
The department “will immediately begin” the disciplinary process for Officer Daniel Pantaleo and Sgt. Kizzy Adonis, the spokesman said in a statement.
