An 8-month old TURDLER suffered a brain bleed and severe malnutrition and now his SHE BOON MAMMY faces child abuse charges.
The TURDLER went to Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte in January, at which time he was diagnosed with a non accidental brain bleed and bilateral retinal hemorrhaging, which resulted in a one week stay in the hospital. He also was diagnosed with malnutrition due to his mother feeding him 2 ounces of cow’s milk mixed with 6 ounces of water rather than baby formula, according to an arrest warrant.
The child required two blood transfusions related to his inadequate diet, according to the warrant.
A magistrate issued a warrant for the arrest of the child’s mother, 30-year-old Keyeira D. Harrison, in June, but Stanley Police did not arrest her until Monday. Harrison, was booked into Gaston County Jail under a $50,000 bond on charges of felony intentional child abuse-serious bodily injury and a misdemeanor count of neglect child abuse-serious physical injury.
