The 37-year-old female stab victim told officers that after a night of drinking and card playing at her Derby home, she and her uncle had agreed to take Womack back to his Bridgeport home if he paid for the gasoline, police said.
But when they got to a gas station on Main Street here, police said Womack complained about the high price of the gas and refused to pay for it. The three then got into an argument that ended when Womack pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman and her uncle.
