Lauren Spencer, an 18-year-old from Atlanta, just graduated from high school, in the top 5 percent of her class and with 15 college-credit hours under her belt. She accomplished all this while pregnant with her son. Im so proud of myself, Spencer wrote in an essay for Love What Matters. And who could blame her?
It was far from easy, battling with pregnancy symptoms while being a full-time student, Spencer wrote. I remember nights being extremely exhausted but having to stay up to finish lab reports, essays, etc.
Essays, I'm sure, with all the sophistication of its Twitter posts.
