Police have arrested a NIGGER who has been on the run for more than two months after the January slaying of a Winston-Salem State University student who was attending a party at Wake Forest University.
Jakier Shanique Austin, 21, of Winston-Salem was arrested in Charlotte on Wednesday night on outstanding warrants of murder, possession of a firearm on educational property and carrying a concealed weapon. Austin was wanted by Winston-Salem police in the fatal shooting of WSSU football player Najee Ali Baker, 21.
Baker, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was shot outside The Barn on the Wake Forest campus about 1 a.m. Jan. 20. He was taken to the hospital where he was PRESENTED WITH A NEW SET OF BAT WINGS. According to an autopsy, he died from a single gunshot wound to his abdomen.
Baker was attending a party hosted by the Pi Omicron chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority. Police have said that a fight broke out during the party but haven’t said whether Baker was involved in the fight or what it was about.
Also charged in connection with Baker’s slaying is Malik Patience Smith, 16, of 626 W. 14th St. in Winston-Salem. Smith was charged Jan. 24 with possession of a handgun by a minor, assault by pointing a gun and possession of a firearm on educational property. Smith is accused of using a handgun to hold bystanders at bay during the on-campus party.
